IGN: LEMONREGENT525
Nick: Lemondriel
Faction: Woodland Realm (Silvan Elves)
Time Banned For: 30 Days
Date Banned: Thursday October 6, 2022
Reason For Appeal:
I still have things to do on this Middle Earth, I need to keep my people safe and I agree I did something wrong but I did not know that it was against the rules until today. I apologies and I would like to get my ban appealed asap so I can start construction on my own Thranduil’s Halls so I will not have to do something stupid like this again… I plead for a ban appeal because if I’m being truly honest with myself I don’t know how long I can keep my calm without this server in my life. I really love this server and I do not want to lose it like my last server. This has an almost infinite amount of things to do and that is something many other servers lack. I hope that the ban gets appealed as soon as possible.
Thank You!

Lemon, you posted this appeal within 3 hours of being banned. You must be as wise as a monk to have reflected so efficiently within such a short period of time. That aside, you claim you were not aware that the actions you committed were against the rules. The rules which I personally have asked you to thoroughly read through on multiple occasions, the rules which have been explained in vivid details by other staff members to you, the rules you have transgressed multiple times and have been consequently asked to carefully read multiple times. But somehow, this one flew right past you. You for some reason assumed that it's okay to quite literally steal someone else's build. You assumed that griefing and building rules for some godforsaken reason did not apply to you or your accomplice. The rules are sometimes vague, I understand that, but "Banners cannot be destroyed (even if self-protect is off)" is as clear to me as the eternal blue sky, so why was it not to you? Breaking any rule will have severe consequences, saying that you had to "take action" because some political scheme was forming, does not mean you are suddenly above the server rules, as no one is. I hope you finally realize that now, as you have evidently struggled with that in the past.
Furthermore, your excuse for not knowing about the rules is just that, an excuse. It does not hold up as an argument in any way, not now and not ever, not for you and not for anyone. More importantly, you do not seem to regret or to be apologetic about what you have done in any way. You seem to just be disappointed that you cannot play on TOR for the time being. You've had a total of 3 hours (that's if I'm being generous) to reflect upon your ban and your actions, although most of that time was spent trying to figure out how to make an appeal. Why would we allow you to return before your ban is over, if you can't even give us any reason to forgive you or your actions? How are we to believe that you have learned from what you did and grown as a person within this short time period? No one made you commit these stupid mistakes, no one forced you to try and steal another person's build. It was you, and therefore you will suffer the consequences.
If you truly love this server, you'll be careful about your conduct. You'll follow the rules to the letter, as there have been multiple occasions in which you did not do that, and as you have been told multiple times. Your appeal has been denied, you can return to the server after your full ban is over, however keep in mind that we expect these next 30 days to be an important lesson for you. We expect you to return as a better player, one that follows the rules, one that has reflected upon his actions, and one that does not repeat these stupid mistakes yet again. Failing to do so will result in more severe consequences.
As for any questions within this response, we do not expe- we do not want an answer. Just think about them for yourself. Reflect upon what you did, try to put yourself in the shoes of the person you hurt, and be better. To once again clarify, this appeal is denied. We will see you again, as a better player hopefully, after the full ban is over.
